Welcome to IronbearSacredCare, established in 2023. We're focused on healing our community with traditional herbal remedies that embrace our relationship with Unci Maka. Our core values connect to honesty, reciprocal care, and compassion for others. We primarily speak English and are in the process of learning our ancestral Dakota language. Our products are crafted with care, using traditional knowledge and sustainably sourced ingredients.
Mission Statement
We are the Ihanktonwan sisters, descendants of Ironbear and Ironnecklace. Our pathway to traditional medicine is something we honor and uphold with great pride. We strive to break down the barriers of modern-day medicine and reintroduce Indigenous peoples to traditional pathways with open arms. By embracing our ancestral knowledge and practices, we aim to restore the balance between mind, body, and spirit. Our mission is to educate and empower our communities, ensuring that the wisdom of our ancestors continues to thrive and heal future generations.

We proudly identify as Ihanktonwan (Yankton Sioux). We honor the knowledge given to us by our elders through creating herbal remedies and personal care products. Our affiliation deeply influences our approach to healing and our connection to traditional practices, embracing our indigenous background and understanding the importance of the earth's connection to our mind, body, and spirit.

Hair Oil:
Our specially formulated hair oil, infused for 4-8 weeks, nourishes and strengthens hair using time-honored ingredients. Promotes hair health and adds a beautiful, natural shine.
Magnesium Spray:
Magnesium spray—crafted to promote muscle relaxation, ease soreness, and support well-being. Made with natural ingredients and carefully designed to provide effective, holistic support.
Tallow Cream (2 oz in amber pots) (New):
Our nourishing tallow cream is crafted to moisturize and rejuvenate the skin, using pure and natural tallow along with time-tested ingredients. Presented in 2 oz amber pots, it’s designed to provide long-lasting hydration and promote a healthy, glowing complexion.
Medicinal Bundles:
Including sage, cedar, and palo santo for cleansing and spiritual practices. Our medicinal bundles honor the traditions of the Ihanktonwan (Yankton Sioux) people, helping to bring balance and clarity to your space.
