Turtle Island Indigenous Youth Growers
Our specialty lies in greenhouse-grown starter plants, ideal for transplanting into personal gardens. Our selection includes culturally relevant and ceremonial plants such as indigenous white sage, essential vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers, and a variety of herbs such as oregano and dill. Cultivated in our greenhouse, these plants receive the best start, ensuring robust growth.
Purchasing our starter plants supports both our educational mission and the broader goal of Indigenous food sovereignty. By incorporating our plants into your garden, you're taking an active role in preserving traditional agricultural knowledge and practices, vital for the self-sufficiency and resilience of Indigenous communities.
Join us in a future where Indigenous communities can sustainably grow their own food, enhancing food sovereignty and preserving cultural heritage. With gratitude from our students, we invite you to choose Turtle Island Indigenous Youth Growers for your starter plants.
